Long time geek, fangirl, mother, and reader. I've got a lot to say, you might not like it all, but it will be honest and hopefully helpful.
Flat and boring writing style that was all tell to the point that it felt like I was reading the introduction to a Twilight Zone episode.
Picture Marcy, a drab Vegas waitress, sometimes bartender who has the unremarkable trait of not being morally corrupt. Because she chose not to steal $100 bill from an oblivious elderly rich cowboy who's over-the-top dialogue will leave you laughing until you cry. After he rattles off every cliche phrase you've ever heard in a bad Western, we proceed to get an overly detailed rundown of Marcy's wardrobe and life, which will help cure your insomnia, but leave you wondering why you even give a shit.
I'm sorry, life is too short to waste time of this book, even if I got it for free.
