The Fangirl

Long time geek, fangirl, mother, and reader. I've got a lot to say, you might not like it all, but it will be honest and hopefully helpful.

Invincible (Book 1): Family Matters (v. 1) - Robert Kirkman I tried reading this one a couple of times and just couldn't get into it, but I'm nowhere near it's target audience so no surprise. I will say that this is a good pick for young male comic books fans. It reads very much like a Spiderman of it's generation and may be more relatable for a teenage boys today than the old comics (with their not so awesome art and cheestastic dialogue) would be. So if you have a teenage boy, who you know is into comic books and might feel a little out of place this book would probably make a good gift for him.
