Fun Fact (not in this book)
In 2008, Cassandra Clare (who's Mortal Instrument series borrows heavily from the Harry Potter series) was a guest judge of an "original" fiction contest on Twilighted (fan fic site owned by the first fan fic publishing company Omnific).
It makes one wonder where the owners of Twilighted/Omnific got the idea to publish fan fiction.
